I was served with papers to appear in court. I had a little more than one week notice to find an attorney to represent me in a very important civil dispute. I told a friend of mine Cathy about my need for a good attorney. She recommended Claery & Hammond. The following day I spoke with Eli Hammond on the telephone. I was very impressed with him. I also had an attorney who represented me successfully on a case with the same opposing party. I needed to decide between Ely and the previous attorney. My previous attorney could have handled this case, however I decided to take a chance on Eli. My calculation was that Eli would be the better attorney, a person very familiar with the law and who pay attention to the details and represent me better. The following day, I banked my money as well as a significant portion of my future, (depending on the outcome of the case), on the Claery & Hammond law firm. I am very very pleased in my decision to use this law firm. The attorneys handling my case, Charlene Wong and Eli Hammond, have been very attentive to all the details of the case. They have stayed on top of everything. They represent me according to the highest of personal and professional standards. They have been compent in every way. At the time of this review the case is not yet complete. It may not be a simple case of win or lose. Sometimes, compromises need to be made. However, with Charlene and Eli representing me, I think I have a good chance of prevailing on all points. Thanks so much
